General Maintenance Program

As part of our study, we were asked to make a General Maintenance program that works for all equipment in a building. what things should i take note of in making one? what should i not forget?

That is a loaded question! It's really what shouldn't you look at. I'd get in touch with a maintenance company and get a checklist from them. Might save you some time.

hohoho! that was a good one.
anyway, buildings here in the philippines are not too rich to give maintenance companies the privilege to handle the common area maintenance of the whole property.
maintenance for equipment are the ones usually acquired here, which are normally part of the equipment acquisition.

Edit:
ohhh... i think i got the point. here, we are assuming that we are the maintenance company as well. so, as part of the maintenance implementation, the question goes on and on and on.

In addition to any preventative maintenance schedule for the equipment, you'll want to keep a maintenance log for each unit. This will help track the repairs over the life cycle and make it easier to determine when a unit might be better replaced than repaired.
