Magnetic door holders
Anyone know if you can reduce the voltage applied to a magnetic door holder (not maglock) and therefore reduce its field strength ??

Try adding a little spacer to the plate surface to reduce the plate (spacer) to magnet contact area.

Or even a thin plastic film on one side such as a sticker. That will weaken the holding power of the magnet. Double it up and it will be even weaker and you can charge a few hundred $$$ for the work.
